The Bereavement Program offered at Chandler Hall is available for individuals who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Various programs are available free of charge for individuals and families. A thirteen month Bereavement Program is available for those who are going through the grieving process. This Program is available to both those who have used Chandler Hall Programs and the surrounding community.
As an extension of the Hospice Program, the Bereavement Program offers the following at no cost to the individual or family:

- 13 Months of Follow-up Bereavement Care
- A Bereavement Newsletter
- Telephonic Bereavement Support
- Referrals for Individual & Family Therapy
- Short Term Individual Bereavement Counseling
- Spring and Fall Memorial Programs
- Community Education and Outreach
- Educational Workshops
Monthly Adult Support Groups
As part of the bereavement program, monthly support groups are held for those over 18 who have experienced loss. These monthly support groups are also open to the public. There are two groups, the morning group is on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 9:30-11am in the Hospice Library; and the evening group is the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30pm in the Morehouse Conference Room. Twice a year, Chandler Hall hosts a Memorial Gathering. It is at these occasions, that family and friends come to the Wright Meeting Hall on the second Tuesday evening of May and November to remember those who have passed. Music, poetry reading, as well as the reading of names of those remembered occurs; attendees are welcome to share a fond thought or memory of their loved one.
